Motor
Statutory and voluntary cover for your company's vehicles.
What is motor insurance?
Third-party liability insurance is mandatory by law and covers damage caused to others. Comprehensive insurance covers your own vehicle in the event of accidents, fire and theft. This applies to everything from passenger cars to large HGVs.
Why motor insurance is important
The biggest pitfall is "private use". If an employee takes the car home and causes damage outside of working hours, the business insurance might not cover it. Another classic mistake is the lack of coverage for permanently installed equipment (shelving, tools, etc.), which can cost an absolute fortune to replace.
Many pay too much because they do not combine their vehicles into a fleet agreement with fixed premiums and low excesses.
